At the start of Easter six intrepid explorers, Dr Hill, Mrs Hill, Benjie, Callum, Alix and Elizabeth, set off for Paris. The first day was spent sight seeing and after a round trip on a tour bus we visited Notre Dame and then walked to the Louvre along the Seine past the bouquanists.

After a trip to see some of the more famous works of art, including the Mona Lisa, we concluded the day with a trip up the Effel Tower. On the second day we walked along the canal to la cite des sciences et de l’industrie what a place! There were so many interesting exhibits and practical activities we could have stayed a week.

The third day was spent at Disney land. We went on lots of rides, took lots of photos and met all our favourite characters. On the forth day we got up with the intension of going home but here fate intervened in the form of industrial action which meant our plane was cancelled. This gave us the perfect opportunity to visit Sacre Coeur later that day and to spend the next day exploring the music exhibition near the science museum before heading home.
